夜も行くぜ！
昼間行ったときに店員さん？社員さん？のお兄さんに
「夜がいいんだよ夜が！」って言われたんで。

I'm going also at night!
When I went there in the daytime,
the shop boy said to me
"You should come back at night, mister!"

っつーか知ってます！夜がいいのは！
なんで知ってっかというと　木曜の夜に下見したからｗ
まだ誰もいない静かな夜にこうこうと光っててそれはそれは良かったのです。

Because I came here beforehand at Thursday night.
So good, nobody there, so quiet with lights on.

うわ　けっこう人おるやんか。
もう12時よ？
警備員さんもいっぱい。

Wow, many people here.
It's already midnight.

なんだかすげぇ綺麗な武家屋敷に入っていくような気でさえする。
いや　ここは安土城だ。
およそ誰も思いもつかないラーメン屋。
豪華絢爛でありながら侘び数奇。

Looks like an entrance of a beautiful samurai mansion.
No, it's the Azuchi castle here.
Ramen restarurant that nobody can think of!

この店は夜がイイ！

パンと明るくなって　ここだけ繁華街の様相。
あぁここは夜だわ。

Lots of lights, feel like being in the downtown.

今夜のメインはこの奥。
「音と光の茶庭」と名づけられた奥のスペース。
その庭だけで東京ドームと同じ広さがあるという。

that's where I wanted to go tonight.
The garden is almost same size as Tokyo Dome, they said.

お菓子とかジュースとか売ってて
それのどれか1個買うと庭に入れるシステム。
「なんだよセコいな！」って思うでしょ？思うでしょ？

でもね　なんかひとつ買って中に入るとね・・・

They sell snacks and soft drinks and we have to buy some to go in the garden.

工場見学はもう昼間やったからいいや。素通りしよう。
なんだかね虫多いのね。
見たら中が蛍光灯なんだよね。そりゃ寄るよね。
フルＬＥＤ化すりゃいいのに。
ガラスにはスコッチティント貼ってPGガードふって・・・

ほら　フルＬＥＤの博物館はほとんど虫いないじゃん。
でも、森だしね。森に虫は当たり前だしね。
そう思えば別にいいか。
白ＬＥＤは電球色ＬＥＤよりは虫を寄せる気がする。

入場時に中で食うか外で食うか選べて　
外で食うほうを選択したんだけど

We can choose eat in or eat out
I chose eating outside.

虫が多いのに加えて
椅子だけしか無いからすげぇ食いにくそうなのね。
だから中で食うほうに変えてもらった。

But many bugs around and only chairs
looks hard to have ramen
So I asked to change my choise.

滋味系とんこつってやつにしてみた。
ここだけで食えるの？

Tried another tonkotsu.
can have this here only?

メシは無し。もう12時過ぎてるしねｗ
半替え玉で。

It's midnight so without rice.

ほんとは昭和10年代のほうで食べたかったんだけど
昭和30年代のほうに通された。
別にいいけどね。どうせまた来るし。

I wanted to try the shop the 30's
but they showed me the shop 50's.
It's OK, I'll be back soon anyway.

あぁ！やっぱこれだよ！
一蘭は味集中カウンターなんだろうけどさ
でもラーメンはこんな感じのほうが楽しいって！

Ichiran booth is OK but
this is much better.

なかなかによく作りこまれてるねー
いいねいいね。
貼り紙とかもいい感じ。

They made the atomosphere well.

程なくして出てきた滋味味。
やっぱり麺の整え方が綺麗。
秘伝のタレは無いのね。

Fine noodle work again.
No secret sause.

うん　超カタでいいね。
合うわ。

Noodle should be very hard.

ああっ！これいい！
普通のヤツよりずっと好き！
滋味ってのはよくわからないけど
ダシ味わいがぐっと深くてクリーミー。
コレ好き！

お肉もちょっと大きめ。

Bigger meat?

1杯目を超カタで頼むと替え玉も超カタなのね。
これってどうなんだろう？
例えば1杯目に普通頼んだけど普通はちょっと柔らかいなと思ったら
替え玉はカタで頼んだりしない？
あとから申告させてくれてもいいじゃない。

I ordered very hard noodle so kaedama was also very hard.
Why? why can't we choose how hard kaedama is?
When we order normal noodle and we feel it's too soft
we order a bit harder kaedama, right?

替え玉半分。
これも整えて出せばいいのになって昼も思った。

Half kaedama.
I thought this should be arranged.

ほらー　替え玉は1杯目よりほんの少しカタくなるじゃない？
超カタは超カタカタになるわけよ。
よし　キメた。
1杯目は超カタ。替え玉はカタ。これでいこう。

Kaedama comes a little bit harder, right?
"Very hard" will be "very very hard".
So next time, I'll order very hard noodle and then hard kaedama.

それにつけてもこの汁はイイ。
最後の最後はちょっと塩がキツめに感じるけど
まぁそれも良し。

I like the soup.
A bit salty at the end but it's OK.

うむ　満足。
楽しさには大満足。

Satisfied.
It was fun.

昼と同じく水がうまい。

And nice water.

こういう雰囲気だと
チャリって金払って
「大将！うまかったよ！おごっそうさん！」
　って言いたいとこなんだけどねぇ。

With this atmosphere,
going to the shop by bike,
and I want to say "Good ramen, master!"

そんで外に出たら中洲のネオンに後ろ髪引かれながら
「給金前だし寄れねーな・・・」とか言いながら
路面電車に乗って帰るのね。

And srounded by neon in Nakasu,
going back home by streetcars saying
"I should go home, it's before pay-day..."

宮田のり子さんへのお手紙に　防虫のくだりを書こうと思ったんだけど
よく考えたらここは食品工場で　
んなこたーのり子さんはじめ、みなさん良くご存知なわけで
やめといた。
ここの案内の店員さんら　みな親切。
いやそりゃ商売だからねー　って以上の親切さがある。
一蘭は「俺のシステムゴリ押し」なラーメン屋さんだと思ってた。
どの案内の人らと話しても　気持ちいいのね。

そう！奥様方にいい情報ございますのよ！
ここの店員さん。特に黒服の方々。
どの男性もどの男性も　みんなイケメン！
ビックリするほど揃えてるわよ。
全国の店舗からかき集めたのかしらねぇ？

I was thinking to write something to Miyata Noriko
but I stopped it.
People working here are so friendly and nice.
I thought Ichiran is kind of a "follow my way if you want to have ramen" shop.
But they are so nice.

Oh, yes, good information for women!
Working people here, especially the one in black,
they are all good looking!
